Privacy Policy

Dead Pixel Test has no user accounts and no server-side backend. There is nothing to sign up for, and we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising. It does use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it counts page views without storing anything on your device, without assigning you a persistent identifier, and without following you to other sites. It records the page you viewed, the referring page, your approximate country, and your browser and device type — never a profile of you as an individual. Because nothing non-essential is stored on your device, you are not shown a cookie banner.

If advertising or cookie-based analytics are introduced later, this page will be updated first and a consent choice will be presented before any such cookies are set.

The test tool

The screen tests run entirely in your browser. The colors, patterns, and the Stuck Pixel Fix are all local to your device — no results, images, or details about your screen are transmitted anywhere, and nothing is saved between visits.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — including your IP address, browser user-agent, and the page requested — in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This happens at the network level for every website you visit and is not used by us to build any profile of you.

Third-party requests

One. Every asset the site uses — including its two typefaces, which are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts — is loaded from the site itself. The single exception is the Cloudflare Web Analytics script, loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com, which is what measures the page views described above. Your browser contacts no other company when you use Dead Pixel Test.
